Heather Penny challenged me to practice Grace.
She mentioned to me before we recorded on how Grace will change your life and the life of others around you.
It’s not easy for us to find Grace, let alone have it. People have hurt us. We have hurt them. To hold onto that hurt gives us a story. A story that we have been wronged and that person should pay for what they did.
Most of us resonate with the story of being the victim of hurt. We all have been hurt. It’s no secret that the longer you live life, the more you will be susceptible to being hurt.
Your boss will not give you a raise. Your partner will say something mean to you. Your friends will not invite you somewhere.
But instead of holding on to that story, what if we let it go?
What if we were able to give those who hurt us grace?
What would our story be then? How much more free would we be to live life with freedom?
